The "LOUNSBURY" Salmon Fly Originated by Jacques Héroux, the "LOUNSBURY" Salmon Fly represents a local company who opened his first store in Newcastle/Miramichi, home of the famous Miramichi salmon river. The official colors of the New Brunswick province, burgundy and Yellow, indicate clearly an entreprise based in NB. The Blue from the body of the fly was choosen to reflect the corporate color, the leadership from the executive, loyal employes and quality of his products. The complex Blue wing divided in three sections represents its Home Furnishing Stores, Automotive and Truck divisions. Finally, the horns of the fly mean the expertise of LOUNSBURY for more than 125 years. |
