"The Leader" Salmon Fly

As New Brunswick's 30th premier, Bernard Lord has a vision of a prosperous province that offers New Brunswickers more opportunities by changing the way in which government works.

The Leader Salmon Fly, originated by Jacques Héroux, celebrates the Aims & Principals of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick with the vision and the leadership of his Premier, the Honorable Bernard Lord.

Color Legend

Jacques's selection of colors for "The Leader", a traditional featherwing salmon fly, are of special significance and a tribute to Bernard Lord's career as the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of NB:

Blue, gold and Red on the wings from the official colors of the Progressive Conservative Party of NB

Burgundy Body to reflect the official colors of NB

Yellow throat as a reminder of our 30th and the youngest elected premier of NB

Red feathers on the cheeks represent the color of Canada means a unified New Brunswick within a prosperous, united Canada

Blue and gold horns represent one of the Principals of the Party where the Premier believes that Government is an extension of the will of the people.
